w00t. kiva is great; i've had an account for several years now (beginning as a christmas present) and have always been fully repaid. maybe we should be charging interest or something...
The field orgs through which Kiva loans the money that you give it do charge interest to the borrower.
ah. so the middlemen charge interest after all. of course, there are administrative costs that must be dealt with.
